"A Special Place for Special Children"
Sister Mary June Morin walked into the Atrium at St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children thinking she was going to attend an appreciation luncheon for the staff. Surprise! The party was to honor her as she begins her 50th year of caring for Virginia's most vulnerable children. Sister Mary June started working here on Feb. 8, 1960. Read a Virginian-Pilot feature story about Sister Mary June here. Read more about Sister in the spring issue of our Guardian newsletter here.
